Resident Maintenance Contract
Our Task
For over 60 years CCC Group has been the resident maintenance contractor for the Alcoa Point Comfort plant. Over the many years of partnership with Alcoa, we have put Safety and Quality first. As partners with Alcoa we have learned to work within their systems and bring our experience, craftsmanship and professionalism to work each day.
Services Involved
- Kiln overhauls including dismantling, repair, complete overalls, and re-commissioning and start-up of equipment
- Tank Bottom Replacements
- Dock loading arm and gantry change outs
- Various coded vessel repairs as required
- Rail Car loading management
- Piping repairs, valve changes, and minor repairs
- Self perform electrical work throughout the plant
- Marine Repairs Bulkhead repair, sheet piling, underwater welding
- Asset management
- Subcontractor management with peak manpower levels reaching upwards of 350
- Responsible for manning shut downs requiring up to 100 additional men
