Our Task
EPCM responsibility for major $321 million plant expansion to convert the plant’s can sheet capacity to high strength automotive aluminum capacity.
Alcoa Tennessee North Plant in Alcoa, Tennessee previously produced aluminum sheet for beverage can bodies. The addition of an automotive sheet line expanded plant capability from producing only can body sheet to include automotive and industrial sheet.
Services Involved
CCC Group is engaged as the EPCM to provide Engineering services, procurement and contract management as well as construction management for the plant expansions.
Expansion includes the addition of:
- A new tandem cold mill
- Continuous Heat Treat (CHT) line
- Annealing furnaces
- Materials handling
- Modifications to the existing N Ingot facility and the existing hot mill
