Cement Plant Modernization
Pennsylvania

Scope of work included the structural, mechanical and electrical construction for:

  • Cement Mill
    • 90 st/hr 5000 HP closed circuit ball mill, with associated clinker, additives, and cement handling equipment
  • Raw Mill
    • 260 st/hr vertical roller mill 
  • Pyro System
    • 3000 st/d  five stage preheater, pre-calciner, two support spline drive kiln and high efficiency cooler

 

Turnkey, Greenfield Construction of Cement Plant

Arizona

Scope of work includes:

  • All foundations for all areas of the plant.
  • Installation of Primary rock crushing facility at the quarry
  • Overland conveyor from the quarry to raw processing area
  • Blending Silo
  • Preheat Tower
  • Kiln
  • Clinker Cooler
  • Clinker Storage Dome
  • Conveyors to move the clinker to cement grinding area
  • Cement Storage Silo
  • Load-out facilities for both truck and rail
  • Electrical wiring and associated controls

Project currently underway.

 

Fabrication and Installation of New Calciner, Vessels and Ductwork for a Preheater Upgrade

Texas

Scope of work included:


Fabrication by CCC Group’s in-house shop:

  • Calciner Riser Ducts
  • Pyro Top
  • Vessels
  • Connecting Ducts including painting
The fabricated components were transported to the field for installation by CCC crews.

Field Installation:

  • Erection of structural steel
  • Preheater components
  • All associated mechanical, piping, scaffolding and welding

Project was completed in 42 days

 

Construction of Cement Terminal

Texas

Scope of work included:

  • Site prep
  • Stabilize existing bulkhead
  • Installation of  (2) 33,750sqft each building for dry cement storage
  • Cast and set 6,000 (2’X2’X6’) cement blocks for material storage in the new buildings
  • Installation of 4,000 linear ft of 12” piping for ship unloading
  • Installation of 136 tons of structural iron for pipe racks and supports
  • Installation of material handling equipment for truck loading
  • Installation of underground piping and a 52,250 sq ft retention pond for storm water control
  • Installation of 1100 linear ft of roadway
